What is MTP Youth?
Youth Group is an environment intentionally designed for students in 5th-12th grade. Our mission is to give students repeated opportunities to receive and share the unfailing love of Jesus where they live, work, and play. We’re here to help students discover a faith of their own through small group relationships, partnering with parents, dynamic teaching, impactful worship, and every teen’s favorite element: FUN!

Every Wednesday morning (when Davidson County Schools have classes) the youth come together at 7 am for a Youth Breakfast & Devotion. Great Food! Awesome Fellowship! Tons of Fun! All capped off with an Amazing Faith-filled Devotion!

(Transportation to Ledford Middle and High Schools, Oak Grove Middle and High Schools, and Friendship, Hasty, and Wallburg Elementary Schools is provided.)

JUNE 23 | 1:00 - 8:30P | Making the most out of the summer days, Join us for a fun-filled day on the lake! It's a great opportunity to hang out with friends, eat good food, and enjoy some exciting water activities!

CROSSOVER | URBAN AIR

JULY 8 | 10:00A - 2:00P | 5th Grade Crossover is heading to Urban Air, W-S. Urban Air Adventure Park is an unforgettable experience. Something magical seems to happen when you step inside an Urban Air. When you see the wall-to-wall adventures just waiting to be explored, it takes you back to that same feeling you used to have when the bell rang for recess. The only difference is that the playground got a whole lot cooler.

CROSSOVER | EMERALD POINTE

AUGUST 5 | 9:30A - 2:30P | When the clock strikes summer, the race is on to the Carolinas’ Favorite Water Park, Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe. Enjoy over 40 family-friendly water attractions like high-speed slides and relaxing pools. BRING MONEY FOR LUNCH.

JUNE 1 | 5:30-7P | Time to tie-dye party and get creative with your Beach Retreat Shirt! With a variety of colors and designs to choose from, you can create unique and personalized looks that you'll love for the Beach Retreat and beyond. (Extra shirts can be purchased in the online store.)

BEACH RETREAT PARENT MEETING

JUNE 1 | 5:30 - 7:00P | Meet some of the youth leaders investing in your kids, review some of the details of the retreat, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

YOUTH BEACH RETREAT

YOUTH BEACH RETREAT, JUNE 7 - 14 | Get ready for sun, sand, and spiritual growth at our annual Youth Beach Retreat! Register early to secure your spot—space is extremely limited and this event fills up quickly! Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity for fun, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.

JUNE 23, 24, 25 | 7:30A – 4:30P | $15 PER STUDENT | Making the most out of the summer days, Join us for a fun-filled day on the lake! It's a great opportunity to hang out with friends, eat good food, and enjoy some exciting water activities!

SERVE DAY

JULY 10 | 3:30 – 7:30P | Serving dinner is an amazing way to give back to those in need. Join us and help bring warmth and nourishment to families who need it most at Cooperative Community Ministry.

YOUTH PAINTBALL

JULY 16 | PAINTBALL | 7:30A - 1:00P | $30 PER STUDENT | Grab your friends and come for an adrenaline-packed day of paintball and friendly competition. Get ready to have a blast with our youth group, Don't forget to bring your spirit and enthusiasm!

VBS

JULY 20 – 24 | 5:30 – 8:00P | Grab a friend and bring them to this year's VBS. Enjoy games, dinner, music, study, discussion time, and a pool party. Each day plan on getting wet.

CANOE TRIP

JULY 30 | 8:00A – 3:00P | $22 PER STUDENT | Pack a bag lunch and hop on the New River. Bring a life jacket if you have one you prefer, life jackets will be provided by Zaloo Canoes.

ROCK QUARRY SWIM

AUGUST 6 | ROCK QUARRY SWIM | 2:30 – 8:00P | $22 PER STUDENT | Swimming in a deep, refreshing natural quarry is the perfect way to cool off in the summer. Join us and enjoy The Quarry at Carrigan Farms oasis.

CAROWINDS

AUGUST 11 | CAROWINDS | 8:00A – 6:00P | $30 PER STUDENT | Open to all students 6th-12th grade. Experience rides and attractions that keep the fun going all day long. Carowinds is a cashless park, BRING CARDS FOR LUNCH AND SNACKS FOR THE BUS.

END OF SUMMER PARTY

AUGUST 24 | 5:00 – 7:30P | Get ready to end the summer on a high note at our end of summer party. Come and join us for a night of fun, grilling, and unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to say goodbye to the summer and make your last memories count!``

YOUTH GROUP

7 | 5 – 7:30P | ``YOUTH GROUP`` is our Sunday evening programming. Our students come together for a night filled with team-building games, a delicious meal, high-energy music, a powerful message, and a small group discussion they won’t want to miss! These nights are designed for everyone to invite someone!

YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY

DEC 14 | YOUTH X-MAS PARTY | 5 - 7:30P All Youth & 5th graders, wear your favorite Christmas PJs and bring a $5 gift for our dirty Santa gift exchange. Food, games, presents, and a whole lot more.
